Yuri Danilov, PhD, is the current Senior Scientist at the Pavlov Institute of Physiology, RAS, in Saint Petersburg, Russia. He was formerly a Senior Scientist and Neuroscience Director of the Tactile Communication and Neuromodulation Laboratory (TCNL), Biomedical Engineering Department, University of Wisconsin-Madison, Wisconsin, USA. Dr. Danilov earned an MA in Biophysics from St. Petersburg University in Russia in 1978 and a Ph.D. in neuroscience from the Pavlov Institute of Physiology in 1984. He is a system neuroscientist with expertise in sensory studies, including vision, taste, hearing, and balance. Dr. Danilov is the primary discoverer and creator of Translingual Neurostimulation technology.
